Renzenbrink & Partner advises Epsilon Group on acquisition of a LFP cathode active material technology center in Germany

Renzenbrink & Partner has advised Epsilon Group on the acquisition of Johnson Matthey’s Lithium-Ion Phosphate (LFP) Cathode Active Material Technology Center in Moosburg, Germany.
Epsilon Group is a leading battery materials manufacturer with its headquarters in India.
Johnson Matthey plc. is a British multinational speciality chemicals and sustainable technologies company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
The acquisition makes Epsilon the first global company capable of providing manufacturing of cathode and anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, which is poised to make India the first country in Asia outside of China to manufacture LFP cathode materials.
