Renzenbrink & Partner advises on the sale of AVENCY and Software Symbiose

Renzenbrink & Partner has advised Albers Beteiligungs- und Management GmbH (Albers BuM) on the sale of all shares in AVENCY GmbH (Avency) and in Software Symbiose Gesellschaft für Softwarelösungen und Managementsystemen GmbH (SoSy) to Swiss Sequotech SA (Sequotech), a portfolio company of Verium AG.

Avency and SoSy offer customized IT solutions, in particular firewalls and security technology, as well as respective management systems.

Sequotech supports companies in their digital transformation. Sequotech acquired Avency and Sequotech as part of its buy & build strategy.

Renzenbrink & Partner advised Albers BuM comprehensively on the legal and tax aspects of the transaction with a team consisting of Dr. Ulf Renzenbrink and Moritz Rojek (both Corporate/M&A) as well as Marc Holger Kotyrba and Marie Eikmeier (both Tax).
