Renzenbrink & Partner advises the Optimum Group on the acquisition of the optikett Group

Renzenbrink & Partner advised Optimum Group Germany GmbH, a subsidiary of Optimum Group B.V. (“Optimum Group”), a portfolio company of IK Partners (“IK”) since 2018, on the acquisition of, inter alia, optikett – Etiketten von der Rolle GmbH (“optikett Group”).

The optikett Group is an established supplier of self-adhesive labels, particularly for the food industry, with its headquarters in Vechta.

Optimum Group, headquartered in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, is a leading provider of labels and flexible packaging solutions in Northwest Europe. With the acquisition of optikett Group, Optimum Group is further expanding its presence in Germany, offering in particular specialty labels, but also printed and unprinted self-adhesive labels, tapes, shrink sleeves, banderoles, multilayer labels and flexible packaging. The Optimum Group comprises 17 member companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark with over 900 employees.

The acquisition of optikett-Group is the twelfth successful acquisition of Optimum Group since 2018 and the second acquisition in Germany in a row advised by Renzenbrink & Partner.
