Renzenbrink & Partner advises HiQ, a Triton V portfolio company, on the acquisition of Scandio

HiQ, a Triton V portfolio company, has signed an agreement to acquire Scandio GmbH.

HiQ is a leading tech consulting company in the Nordics. This acquisition marks HiQ’s entry to the German market and the second transaction during 2021 following the add-on Swedish IT-specialist Headlight Group in April. Founded in 1995, HiQ currently has close to 1500 specialists in four countries and is owned by Triton since 2020.

Since its establishment in 1997, Triton has sponsored ten funds, focusing on businesses in the industrial, business services, consumer and health sectors.

Founded in Germany in 2003, Scandio is a high-end digital transformation services company with a strong presence in Munich, Augsburg and Berlin. They offer IT-consulting, agile/custom development and cloud technology enabled solutions. These services are offered to a large customer base, including Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte, BMW, Siemens, Infineon and Carmeq (VW).
