Renzenbrink & Partner advises Acture on the acquisition of KI.M

Renzenbrink & Partner advised Acture on the acquisition of Kölner Institut für Managementberatung GmbH & Co. KG (KI.M).

Kölner Institut für Managementberatung GmbH & Co. KG (KI.M) is a leading provider of personnel management services, organisational consulting and mental health employee assistance for various German blue chip clients.

Acture was founded in the Netherlands in 2008 among others by CEO Maudie Derks and has been a portfolio company of the IK SC II fund advised by IK Partners since 2020. Acture is the market-leading provider of private execution of social security in the Netherlands and responsible for the executing of over EUR 25bn in wages p.a., approximately 10% of the total wage bill in the Netherlands. Acture pursues a total welfare management strategy and continues to expand its reach and influence in key segments in the Netherlands and throughout Europe.

Within less than a year, following the acquisitions of move UP (Hamburg) in January 2024 and Berlin-based Evermood in Summer 2023 – which now, with the assistance of Acture, is entering the Dutch market –,KI.M is now acquisition no. 3 for Acture in Germany.
