Renzenbrink & Partner advised the shareholders of Karl Kaps GmbH & Co. KG on the sale to the listed Swedish industrial group Lifco AB.

Karl Kaps GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1946, is a long-established German medical technology company headquartered in Aßlar near Wetzlar. The family-owned business develops and manufactures advanced surgical and diagnostic microscopes for disciplines such as ENT, ophthalmology, microsurgery, endodontics and gynaecology, as well as high-quality optical products including riflescopes and binoculars for hunting and sports shooting. Its “Made in Germany” products are distributed worldwide through a well-established dealer network and are recognised for precision, technical excellence and sustained innovative strength.
