Renzenbrink & Partner advises GOM shareholders on sale to ZEISS

Renzenbrink & Partner advises the shareholders of the leading specialist for industrial 3D measurement technology GOM GmbH on the sale to Carl Zeiss AG (“ZEISS”) in a structured international auction process.

GOM GmbH, based in Braunschweig, was founded in 1990. Together with its subsidiaries (“GOM”), it develops, produces and distributes software, sensors and machines for industrial manual and automated 3D coordinate measuring technology and 3D inspection. GOM targets industries with the highest quality requirements, such as the automotive and aerospace industries, and is a leading supplier for blue chip customers in the respective target industries. GOM employs more than 6oo people worldwide and generated net sales of over EUR 150 million in the last fiscal year. ZEISS is an international company in the fields of optics and optoelectronics. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
