Renzenbrink & Partner advises Gimv on investment in Klotter Elektrotechnik GmbH

Renzenbrink & Partner advised Gimv (Sustainable Cities Platform) on an investment in Klotter Elektrotechnik GmbH (“Klotter”).

Klotter is a leading provider of transformer station construction, industrial automation, distribution board construction and building technology and is one of the industry’s pioneers in digitalization. The company focuses on industrial customers, including hospitals and data centers, and currently employs around 60 people at its headquarters in Rheinau, Baden-Württemberg.

Gimv is a European investment company listed on Euronext Brussels and currently manages a portfolio of around EUR 2 billion across more than 50 investments. Driven by technological change and increasing electrification and digitalization, the German electrical engineering sector is expected to continue to grow at a consistently high rate. Gimv and the founder of Klotter intend to further strengthen Klotter by increasing the number of employees and through acquisitions.
