Renzenbrink & Partner advises Epsilon Group on the acquisition of a technology center for LFP cathode materials

Renzenbrink & Partner advised the Epsilon Group on the acquisition of a technology center for active LFP cathode materials in Moosburg, Germany, from Johnson Matthey.

The Epsilon Group, headquartered in India, is a leading manufacturer of battery materials.

Johnson Matthey plc. is a British multinational specialty chemicals and sustainable technologies company headquartered in London, UK. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

The acquisition makes Epsilon the first global company able to offer the production of cathode and anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. This will make India the first country in Asia outside China to produce LFP cathode materials.
