Legal clerkship, research assistants and interns

We are committed to promoting young talent and offering them genuine career prospects. For us, it is a matter of course that our legal clerks and research assistants take part in all internal events and training programs and are closely involved in our client work.

We offer our legal clerks and research assistants a salary of EUR 1,100 per working day after successfully passing the first state examination and EUR 700 per working day before the first state examination. If you wish to work as a research assistant instead of a regular associate after successfully passing the second state examination, e.g. to bridge the gap until the start of a doctoral project or LL.M. studies, you will receive remuneration of at least EUR 1,500 per working day per week.

Legal clerk (m/f/d) can spend their legal traineeship or elective traineeship with us. In addition to first-class training, we offer the opportunity to get to know the legal profession in a boutique law firm with a clear focus. We are happy to welcome legal clerks who want to take on responsibility for clients during this training phase and who are interested in commercial law issues.

We are also happy to support you in your search for a suitable internship abroad at one of our partner law firms. In the event of a successful professional and personal collaboration, we will begin with job interviews before the second state examination in order to give our trainee lawyers security.

Are you still in between two stages of your education or in the middle of a doctoral project, but want to gain practical experience at the same time? We offer employment as a research assistant (m/f/d) at Renzenbrink & Partner for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. We also welcome legal clerks (m/f/d) who wish to gain professional experience in an international commercial law firm in addition to their legal clerkship.

We offer interested students the opportunity of an (introductory or in-depth) internship to gain an initial insight into the activities of our lawyers. Depending on your level of training, you will take on valuable research activities or other client-related tasks.
