Renzenbrink & Partner advises Volksbank eG – Die Gestalterbank on the financing of the acquisition of Fishing-King GmbH

Renzenbrink & Partner supports Volksbank eG – Die Gestalterbank in financing the acquisition of Fishing-King GmbH by Afinum Management GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financing volume.

Fishing-King GmbH is a young company from Cologne, which since its founding in 2009 has developed into the leading e-learning platform for the angling community in the German-speaking world. Since the launch of the first online preparation course in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2015, Fishing-King has assisted more than 100,000 customers in Germany and Austria in preparing for the fishing exam. In the coming years, an expansion of the services for sustainable fishing is planned. Therefore, Fishing-King has agreed to partner with Afinum, which will accompany the company in its next growth steps.

Volksbank eG – Die Gestalterbank regularly provides acquisition financing for medium-sized companies in the German-speaking market, both in bilateral financing and in club deals. Renzenbrink & Partner has already supported Volksbank eG – Die Gestalterbank in this context on several occasions.
