Renzenbrink & Partner again advises Körber on VC investment in Magazino

Renzenbrink & Partner advised Körber AG on the latest Series B financing round of Magazino GmbH. Körber and other existing investors also invested in the financing round led by Jungheinrich AG. In addition, the European Investment Bank (EIB) provided the Munich-based start-up with venture debt financing in the double-digit million euro range.

Magazino GmbH develops and builds intelligent, mobile robots that perceive their environment and make their own decisions. The autonomous robots work alongside humans and make processes in the areas of e-commerce, fashion and production logistics more flexible and efficient. With over 100 employees at its Munich site, Magazino has the largest advanced robotics team in Europe. In addition to Körber and Jungheinrich, Magazino’s investors include Zalando and Fiege Logistik.

Renzenbrink & Partner had already advised Körber on the Series A financing round in February 2018. Körber AG, headquartered in Hamburg, is the holding company of an international technology group with around 10,000 employees and more than 100 locations worldwide in the five business areas Digital, Pharma, Supply Chain, Tissue and Tobacco.

Dr. Dennis Schlottmann advised Körber AG together with Dr. Christine Maechtel (Head of M&A Law, Körber AG) on the equity investment and the EIB financing.
