Renzenbrink & Partner advised HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions GmbH on the legal aspects of the sale of its participation in SAAone Holding B.V. (Netherlands).

HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions, based in Essen, is a subsidiary of the HOCHTIEF Group specialised in public-private partnership (PPP) projects. The company develops and implements concession and operator projects in the fields of transport infrastructure, social infrastructure, energy, and digital solutions. With around 500 employees across its headquarters and European offices, it supports public authorities and private sector clients with lifecycle-oriented infrastructure services.

SAAone Holding B.V., founded in 2012 and headquartered in Diemen (Netherlands), is the holding company for the SAAone PPP project, which involves the design, construction, financing, maintenance, and operation of approximately 20 kilometres of motorway between Amsterdam and Almere. The project includes a long-term maintenance and operation phase of 25 years following completion of the construction works and represents a landmark PPP infrastructure development in the Netherlands.

The transaction marks a strategic step for HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions as it refocuses on its core European PPP operations and optimises its project and capital portfolio.
