Renzenbrink & Partner advises the shareholders of ŽELOS on the sale to VTG

Renzenbrink & Partner advises the shareholders of the Slovak ŽELOS, spol. s r.o. on the sale to the listed VTG AG.

The latter takes over Želos, a maintenance plant in Trnava, Slovakia. Founded in 1994, the plant specializes in the repair, maintenance, modernization and reconstruction of rail freight wagons. The takeover involves VTG acquiring a 100% stake, but the local management and the Želos name will be retained. The transaction has already been closed.

VTG Aktiengesellschaft, headquartered in Hamburg, is a leading international wagon hire and rail logistics company with currently more than 94,000 rail freight cars. In addition to Želos and a large network of partner workshops throughout Europe, VTG AG has three further wagon repair workshops of its own.
