Renzenbrink & Partner has advised Philipp und Keuntje (PUK) and its shareholders on the merger with the communications agency fischerAppelt. Both parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price. Philipp und Keuntje will continue to operate as an unchanged company and the founding shareholders and top management will remain or have been involved.

The award-winning advertising agency Philipp und Keuntje was founded in January 1999 and is one of the most successful creative agencies in Germany. It develops brand and content strategies and does advertising for Audi and Astra, among others. The agency currently has 200 employees in Hamburg and Ingolstadt.

In 2018, the fischerAppelt Group achieved a turnover of over EUR 58 million and employs around 500 people. The company’s most prestigious clients include the car manufacturer Daimler and the pharmaceutical group Merck. By joining forces with Philipp and Keuntje, fischerAppelt is strengthening its advertising and brand management offering with the aim of covering the entire customer experience.
