Renzenbrink & Partner advises Sansidor on the acquisition of LVHT

Renzenbrink & Partner has advised Sansidor GmbH (Sansidor) on the acquisition of LVHT Lehr- und Versuchsgesellschaft für innovative Hygiene-Technik mbH (LVHT).

LVHT, based in Mülheim an der Ruhr, is an accredited laboratory company with a focus on drinking water, swimming pool and bathing pool analyses. In addition, LVHT provides consulting and training services for operators of public and private facilities – in particular swimming pools, hospitals, and municipal institutions.

Sansidor Group was founded in the Netherlands in 2018 following the acquisition of several TIC (testing, inspection and certification) companies by HC Partners. Since then, the group has grown significantly and now consists of more than 20 companies in the Netherlands and, since 2024, in Germany, with a total of over 400 employees. The focus of its business activities is on testing in the areas of fire safety, electricity, water, air and occupational safety (TIC). Since 2024, funds advised by IK Partners have held a majority stake in the Sansidor Group alongside HC Partners. Sansidor Group is pursuing a strategy of “buy and build together” with existing company owners.

The acquisition of LVHT continues a series of acquisitions by the Sansidor Group in Germany started in 2024. Renzenbrink & Partner regularly supports foreign corporate groups in transactions to enter or consolidate their position in the German market and has advised Sansidor this year on the acquisition of several TIC companies.

Renzenbrink & Partner provided comprehensive legal advice to Sansidor on the acquisition of LVHT and the sellers’ re-investment with a team consisting of Dr. Niels Maier, Moritz Rojek, Konstantin Klein, Sophie Raming and Dr. Andreas Sandberger (all Corporate / PE).
