Renzenbrink & Partner advises Mimir on the acquisition of Wärtsilä EUROATLAS

Swedish financial investor Mimir has entered into an agreement with Wärtsilä Corporation to acquire all shares in Wärtsilä EUROATLAS GmbH, a leading supplier of power conversion products for civil and military applications. Subject to approvals, the transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021.

Mimir is a global investment company that acquires non-core business units from large corporations and private companies that require operationally oriented ownership. The Mimir Group operates in 20 countries around the world and employs 1,000 people.

Based in Bremen, Germany, Wärtsilä Euroatlas provides its global customer base with customized solutions for high power energy conversion in marine, aviation and mobile land applications.
