Renzenbrink & Partner advises HiQ International, a Triton portfolio company, on the acquisition of Scandio

The Triton V portfolio company HiQ has signed an agreement to acquire Scandio GmbH.

HiQ is a leading tech consulting company in Northern Europe. This acquisition marks HiQ’s entry into the German market and is the second transaction in 2021 following the acquisition of Swedish IT specialist Headlight Group in April. HiQ was founded in 1995, currently employs almost 1500 specialists in four countries and has been part of Triton since 2020.

Since its foundation in 1997, Triton has launched ten funds focusing on companies in the industrial, services, consumer goods and healthcare sectors.

Founded in Germany in 2003, Scandio is a high-end digital transformation service provider with a strong presence in Munich, Augsburg and Berlin. They offer IT consulting, agile/customized development and consulting solutions with cloud technology. These services are offered to a large client base including Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte, BMW, Siemens, Infineon and Carmeq (VW).
