Renzenbrink & Partner advises EMZ Partners on the financing of the acquisition of Assepro AG

EMZ Partners has concluded a purchase agreement to acquire a majority stake in Assepro AG, headquartered in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, and its subsidiaries.

Assepro is the leading independent insurance broker in Switzerland with a focus on small and medium-sized companies. Assepro currently offers over 8000 clients a wide range of services along the value chain from brokerage to insurance consulting, risk management, financial and pension planning and occupational pensions. The company serves its clients from 18 local offices in German-speaking Switzerland.

This transaction was the first time that Renzenbrink & Partner acted for the EMZ Partners team led by Klaus Maurer and Guntram Kieferle.

The Renzenbrink & Partner team, led by Dr. Bernd Egbers (Partner), consisted of Philipp Hogrefe (Associate) and Zacharias Woltering-Schlenker (Transaction Analyst). Lukas Wyss (Walder Wyss) advised on Swiss law.

The financiers Credit Suisse and Investec were advised by Jürg Frick (Homburger).
