Renzenbrink & Partner advises Swedish investor Mimir on the acquisition of Wärtsilä EUROATLAS

Swedish financial investor Mimir has signed an agreement to acquire Wärtsilä EUROATLAS GmbH, a leading supplier of power conversion products for civil and military applications, from Wärtsilä Corporation. Subject to approvals, closing of the transaction is expected in the third quarter of 2021.

Mimir is a global investment firm which focusses on non-core business units of large corporations and private companies in need of operational ownership. The Mimir group operates in 20 countries around the world and employs 1,000 people.

Wärtsilä EUROATLAS, based in Bremen, Germany, provides its global customer base with customized solutions for high-performance energy conversion in marine, aviation and mobile land applications.
