Renzenbrink & Partner advises AmRest-founder Henry McGovern on his investment in dean&david

Henry McGovern, founder and long-time CEO of the European multi-concept restaurateur AmRest, is taking over – via his holding company McWin – 49 % of the shares in dean&david group from Hermann Weiffenbach.

Since leaving AmRest, American Henry McGovern has been pursuing various projects in the international gastronomy and food sector as an investor.

The fresh casual restaurant brand dean&david was founded by David Baumgartner in 2007 and actually has 150 locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Qatar.
