Renzenbrink & Partner advised IK Investment Partners on all German aspects of the sale of Touristry Group to Dutch company Tourism Group Holding B.V.

The Swedish Touristry AB is one of the largest sightseeing companies in the tourism industry in northern Europe. It operates the well-known red “Hop-On Hop-Off” buses as well as the more newly introduced “Hop-On Hop-Off” boats in most major European cities. Funds advised by IK Investment Partners have supported Touristry AB through its growth phase and have now divested their interest in the company to Amsterdam-based Tourism Group Holding B.V.

In recent years, Renzenbrink & Partner has also advised Touristry AB on its market entry into the German market by way of the add-on acquisitions of several German sightseeing companies.

Within the framework of the current transaction process, Renzenbrink & Partner advised on all German corporate law aspects. The Renzenbrink & Partner team consisted of partner Dr Ulf Renzenbrink (Corporate/Private Equity) and associates Dr Niels Maier and Casey Reynolds (both Corporate/Private Equity). The overall divestment process was led by Swedish law firm Vinge.
