Renzenbrink & Partner has advised E-Commerce Software Group on acquisition of majority stake in amaZervice

Renzenbrink & Partner has advised E-Commerce Software Group, a portfolio company of funds advised by Bregal Unternehmerkapital (BU) in connection with the acquisition of a majority stake in amaZervice GmbH (amaZervice).

amaZervice, with seat in Wildpoldsried (Germany), is a specialized provider of software for automated financial accounting and VAT compliance, especially for Amazon Marketplace sellers. With over 2,500 customers from various industries, amaZervice provides not only a standardized software solution but also supplementary services, in particular the analysis of historical Amazon data to ensure VAT compliance.

The acquisition complements the recent acquisitions of majority stakes in Billbee, a SaaS provider for multichannel solutions, as well as Channel Pilot Solutions GmbH, the leading provider of cloud-based software for product feed management and marketplace connectivity, with the aim of position E-Commerce Software Group as a market leader in the continuously growing field of online commerce.

Renzenbrink & Partner has advised with a team consisting of Dr Andreas Stoll, Dr UIf Renzenbrink, Moritz Rojek, Dr Andreas Sandberger, Malte Pulmer (all Corporate/PE) as well as Marc Holger Kotyrba and Dr Toufic Schilling (Tax) in connection with all legal aspects of the acquisition of amaZervice.
