Renzenbrink & Partner advises the shareholders of Melior Motion on the sale to Schaeffler

Renzenbrink & Partner has advised the shareholders of Melior Motion GmbH on the sale of all shares to Schaeffler Group in a limited auction process.

Melior Motion GmbH is a highly innovative company in the robotics field with over 100 employees and 30 years of experience and has developed a high precision planetary gearbox for industrial robots and other applications in automation. Since market launch in 2017, the gearboxes are meeting rapidly growing demand.

Schaeffler Group is a leading global supplier to the automotive and industrial sectors with over 80,000 employees.

The closing of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Renzenbrink & Partner advised the shareholders of Melior Motion GmbH on all legal aspects of the transaction.

The Renzenbrink & Partner team consisted of Dr Ulf Renzenbrink and Jonas Hamm (both Corporate/PE).
