Renzenbrink & Partner advises svt Group on the acquisition of British Technical Fire Safety Group (reinvestment)

Renzenbrink & Partner has advised svt Group, a portfolio company of Ergon Capital, in connection with the acquisition of British Technical Fire Safety Group (“TFSG”) with respect to the reinvestment of sellers in svt Group.

svt, headquartered in Seevetal near Hamburg, Germany, is a leading pan-European supplier of passive fire protection products, installation and refurbishment services with more than 1,100 employees worldwide. TFSG is a leading supplier of fire protection glass based in the United Kingdom, which further complements svt Group’s comprehensive product portfolio in a growing segment. As a result of the acquisition, svt Group will in future employ more than 1,500 people with annual sales of more than EUR 300 million.

The Renzenbrink & Partner team comprised Dr. Niels Maier and Dr. Alexander Haunschild (both Corporate/M&A).

svt Group has already repeatedly engaged the services of Renzenbrink & Partner in the past (most recently in the acquisition of DDL GmbH). Further, with regard to the transfer of the svt Group to a so-called continuation fund advised by Ergon Capital Management in 2022, Ergon Capital was also advised by a team led by Dr. Ulf Renzenbrink.
