Renzenbrink & Partner advises H.I.G. Capital on the sale of Maillis Plastics Solutions to Teufelberger and Sigma Plastics Group

Renzenbrink & Partner advises H.I.G. Capital on the sale of Maillis Plastics Solutions, Poland, to a consortium of Austrian family-owned Teufelberger and U.S.-based Alpha Industries Management, part of the Sigma Plastics Group.

Maillis Plastics Solutions had been part of the international Maillis Group since 2000, which in turn was acquired by H.I.G. Capital in 2014. The group employs more than 750 people and generates sales of around EUR 200 million.

Teufelberger has around 2,700 employees and sales of approximately EUR 225 million. For the US-based Sigma Plastics Group, with sales of more than USD 2.5 billion, the acquisition represents its entry into the European market.
