Renzenbrink & Partner advises 2Connect on the acquisition of Büschel Connecting Systems GmbH

In pursuit of its dedicated buy and build strategy, 2Connect Group B.V (2Connect) has acquired Büschel Connecting Systems (BCS).

2Connect, established in 2000 with its headquarter in Waalwijk, the Netherlands and today employing over 300 employees, is a leading manufacturer of specialised cables and connectors, designing, developing and producing tailored interconnection solutions worldwide. Area of expertise includes the development and production of bespoke interconnection devices with an in-house engineering and development team. 2Connect is a portfolio company of the IK Small Cap II Fund.

Based in Albstadt, Germany, Büschel Connecting Systems GmbH (BCS) employs approx. 30 employees in Germany and offers a specialized product portfolio of high-precision special plug connecting solutions, predominantly for mining, oil and laboratory analytics industries.

The acquisition of BCS is the first add-on acquisition of 2Connect in Germany.
