Renzenbrink & Partner advised Optimum Group on the acquisition of HP-Group

Renzenbrink & Partner advised Optimum Group Germany GmbH, an affiliate of Optimum Group B.V. (“Optimum Group”) and portfolio company of IK Partners VIII Mid Cap Fund (“IK”), on the acquisition of HP-Etikett GmbH & Co. KG (“HP-Group”).

HP-Group is a Northern-Germany based supplier of self-adhesive labels with a special focus on the food industry.

Optimum Group, headquartered in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, is a leading provider of labels and flexible packaging solutions in Northwest Europe. By the acquisition of HP-Group, Optimum Group continues to expand its presence in Germany, offering especially speciality labels but also printed and unprinted self-adhesive labels, tapes, shrink sleeves, banderoles, multi-layer labels and flexible packaging. Today, Optimum Group comprises 19 group companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark with over 900 employees.

The acquisition of HP-Group is the third consecutive add-on by Optimum Group in Germany advised by Renzenbrink & Partner.
